At the moment, the construction of the hospital is partially complete. About 70 % of the building has been completed. The hospital provides seventy beds and will include an outpatient center, a full emergency department, imaging centers, four surgical suites, three cardiovascular labs and a level two specialty care.
There are three stages to this project. The first stage is to complete the building of the hospital. This is estimated to take up to a year and cost $765,101. The second stage is to equip the hospital with beds, scanners, laboratory and diagnostic equipment, computers, licensed software, generators, lights and light fittings, electricity (including 3-phase), heating and air conditioning etc. The estimated cost of this, which includes the cash needed to run the start-up operations and the initial medical staff of in phase 3, is estimated to be $2,438,000. Stage 3 is to hire the relevant medical staff in order to begin providing medical services and to begin accepting patients.
